Older pets often slow down and cannot move as they used to, so they need a little more love and care. It’s always good to see what people will do to help their pets as they get older. They try to build ramps or create a special carriage so these dogs can live their best lives while they are still around.
And now the family has gone viral with their very clever idea of helping their elderly dog move out of Georgia Tom Antonino, owner of the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Cocoa. Although Cocoa was once an active dog, he began to show his age. When he turned 16, this exceeded the breed’s lifespan.
– He had problems getting to his favorite places such as dog parks and the beach. While Cocoa may have stayed at home in her old age, her owners wanted her to be able to experience the world while she still could. A great idea came to him: a movable bed! The portable bed, scratched by Tom and his wife with the help of creative engineers, allows the family to take their elderly dog to their favorite places while leaving him comfortable.
“We have a rope and a bed, and we’ll get them out,” Tom told WTKR. The great idea quickly gained widespread attention. In February, a woman named Carrie Copenhagen saw the film Cocoa in Virginia Beach, I Enjoy the Smell of the Ocean, and was deeply moved.
“I had to stop and express my love for his exceptional concern … compassion, kindness, love,” Carrie wrote on Facebook. “I need more people like that in my life. She shared a photo on Facebook that went viral, shared over 55,000 times. The volume, which is not on Facebook, was shocked when the post was published.
It has gone viral, but understands why it is thus, Tom told WTKR, “It creates relationships with people. “Our relationship with our dogs and pets is very strong,” Tom told WTKR. Unfortunately, Cocoa has passed away. But it is obvious that thanks to his kind hosts, he was able to make the most of his life by visiting all his favorite places.
